- The appearance and layout of the wiki is mostly due to whatever skin you're using. So you probably shouldn't use MediaWiki:Common.css. See Help:Skins for a little more information. As for the CSS snippet, where do you see that? --Saftzie (talk) 05:37, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, but maybe there's some confusão. How I don't use MediaWiki:Common.css if it's where we can apply things for our wiki? It was what was teached to me. But never mind with that. I only wanna know if I can change the color of the menus of the left and if it's possible what is the code. Many thanks. --NunoEddie (talk) 08:38, 14 October 2024 (UTC)
- MediaWiki:Common.css is for things that are independent of skins. The thing you want to change is dependent on the skin, so it should go in <skin>.css. The css to change the skin, therefore, also depends on the skin. Which skin are you trying to change? Help:Skins has a gallery of them. --Saftzie (talk) 02:14, 15 October 2024 (UTC)

Strange,I changed the color link of some things, like the pages I created or not yet created or the text that appear in the bottom of the wiki or the links in the top right of the wiki. If the links menu of the left require some thing more complex, then it's better not to change it. I really wanna mantain the modern aspect of my wiki. Thanks anyway. By the way, you know if it's possible to have more than one picture in the character box, using buttons? I have tried for years and until today didn't figure out the code necessary for that. Like this example: https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Monkey_D._Luffy Thanks again. --NunoEddie (talk) 06:43, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- Changing the look of a skin is fairly common. Changing the color of links is something common to every web page. Changing them in only one area depends on how to specify that one area, which is different for different wiki skins. As for changing the look of some kind of infobox depends on the infobox. Infoboxes are highly particular to each wiki. --Saftzie (talk) 03:01, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
- Then changing only the menus of the left, the ones I refer in my first message, there's no simple code? And in the shoutwiki, there's no option to use 2 pics or more in the character box? I saw different wikis use it, shoutwiki shouldn't have some kind of that then? Thanks. --NunoEddie (talk) 06:42, 16 October 2024 (UTC)
